In 2022 we started with Ice, the motivation for this was simply to help with the heat of our area’s summers…. initially to sell at Matzik Liquor, so that drink and ice compliment each other, but then expanded to sports events and all kinds of functions, what makes our Ice extra unique is the solid ice block that weighs an average of 36 grams per block, therefore it lasts long enough for any occasion in any heat…. the name, Ysbergh, however, carries so much more meaning and background than just a mere large solid ice block, but we bring our family name into this and of course associate it with our Ouberg farm…. Ysbergh is also distributed from Bergh Braai and Matzik Liquor, but because we would like to offer everyone the privilege and availability of this, we also distribute the ice in bulk to businesses to resell. We take orders for any events 24/7, and we stick to our goal, namely to serve the community and keep everyone happy, like the rest of the businesses.
