Bergh Braai started in October 2023, with the main goal initially being to fill a space that was otherwise a disruption. Roosterbrode is something we all grew up with in this area, and the idea of ​​spreading Roosterbrode with its versatility makes it more exciting, so we could perhaps call it Modern Tradition or Tradition with a Twist. Bergh Braai’s support has grown so much, thanks to the community, that at the end of December 2025, we were able to move to a new space, called Woelige Hoek, a relatively busy area in our area. In March 2026, we were able to progress from our beautiful blue Gazebo to a retail space on the same premises… Of course, our options and accessories can be expanded from this retail space. Seeing people laugh, enjoy good food, and help each other, as in the old days, is one of our greatest passions. Along with that, we are always open to any compliments, as well as any comments or even complaints, because from each of these we can build and learn. Bergh Braai take orders, offer delivery within the area, and supplies bulk to dealers to resell. To ensure that no one misses out, we also offer delicious coffee and are happy to fill your water jugs with filtered water…. Ysbergh Ice is also distributed from Bergh Braai, because it is a part of our businesses, so the same goal, namely making the community happy, providing service and involvement, exists at each of the businesses/branches.
